Kalden Bess
A1 Alice
B1 Panorama
B2 Funktion One
close
Canadian producer Kalden Bess makes his debut for Analytic Trail this Summer with the 'Alice in Panorama' EP - a three track release which focuses on dark, heavy grooves.
Bess; Ground Factory label has, across two years, developed a small but perfectly formed
disography and has drawn attention to the Montreal-based producer from across the techno
scene. Usually releasing as mOh, Bess has a similarly petite discography but one that oozes
quality.
'Alice in Panorama' opens with real purpose via 'Alice', a tightly looped peak time cut which
contains enough funk to appeal to tougher house djs and techno die-hards alike. Vast reverbs create an enormous amount of space atop the powerful beats and repeated vocal refrains and panoramic effects whizz about the mix unhindered.
Power remains a key word for the second track, 'Panorama'. Skittering hats snake through the
mix while relentless, machine-like grooves unravel underneath filtered textures. Uncomplicated, raw and undeniably rousing it's one of the most vicious tracks to appear on Analytic Trail in some time.
Finally, the aptly titled 'Funktion One' closes the EP with kick-heavy, controlled aggression. The
strident vibe and linear arrangement makes for an infectious listen that evokes dark, smokey
rooms shaking with bass.
This is an excellent EP of contemporary techno from a producer that shows serious promise.

Surely with forward-looking ambitions, serbian fellow Dejan Milicevic drops his debut album Trust and the Purpose with style, non-compromisingly showing us how electronic music has no limits, only heart and soul is needed. He throws a good example how to gather different genres and styles into one great peace of art, one that certainly can't resist giving in without touching our heart.

Oscar Mulero
A1 Tidal Acceleration
B1 Orbital Resonance
B2 Rotation
close
Pole Recordings reaches its number 10 release; a work by Oscar Mulero. For this record, Oscar has chosen to go for a more mental and elaborate kind of techno, lowering the BPMs and softening his sound.
'Tidal Acceleration' is a deep techno track: controlled beats and sub bass frequencies as the main stars, the analogue bleeps are an essential part of the arrangement that evolves and changes constantly, making it ideal for detailed listening while working the dance floor too.
'Orbital Resonance' is in the same vein, this time with more emphasis on the percussive work and a more dynamic programming. The bleeps are again a fundamental part of the arrangement as well as noisy environments and bass arpeggios.
'Rotation' is closer to Oscar's classic sound: harder rhythmic workout, aggressive bass and a more combative approach.
A scientific techno record that has been crafted to the slightest detail. This release shows, once again, that this veteran producer is in top shape and places him among the elite of international electronic dance music.

B1 Man on Moon / Mihalis Safras remix
B2 Basic Rude
close
Rino Cerrone, the indomitable figurehead of Naples' fertile techno scene, has a formidable
reputation as one of the most consistent and prolific producers around.
'Man on Moon' is Cerrone's seventh release for his own Unrilis imprint and it's the sort of
belligerently driving affair that has cemented his lynchpin status in worldwide techno.
Fusing guttural bottom-end and clinically executed percussion together is what Cerrone does best and that's evident on 'Man on Moon' but it's his steadfast approach to seemingly infinite tension
building that is most apparent. From the distorted builds of the first half to the fever-pitch mechanics of the main drop 'Man on Moon' is a brutally effective piece.
With track two, Mihalis Safras lends his talents to a rework of the title cut and the result is a
creeping, fluid and machine-like slice of modern techno which sees the Greek producer rein in the
original's violent soundscape just the right amount. Finally, Cerrone delivers 'Basic Rude', an out-and-out festival barnstormer that unapologetically aims itself squarely at the floor with a vast arsenal of builds, drops and percussive flourishes.

The Outside Agency and Sei2ure had never collaborated until this release, and in retrospect they were most likely doing the world a favor. The simple reason for this is that the two monsters they're letting loose upon the world on this release can only be described as extremely dangerous. The Outside Agency's signature hard-hitting kicks and drum & bass percussion combine with Sei2ure's hard-hitting everything to provide weaponry for the next two millennia. This is definitely one of the most hardcore releases on One Seven Five thusfar. Guaranteed to work on any dancefloor it finds in its path as per usual. No negotiating. No hostages.

Good things take time.Outstanding things sometimes take even more time.
French artist Naab has graced us with the opportunity to be able to release one of the remixed tunes of one of dnb's most reverred artists, the mighty Kemal.
With extra help from Dresden Codex, the 'Tamghra Nouchen' remix is now here, highly awaited. It's a huge rework bearing the Kemal trademarks in every way, chirurgical drumwork and percussive madness with delicate ethnic touches, reminders of the original track.
Simply a must-have.
AA. Morebeat and Kantyze - Alchemy
First collaboration between the Czech and French duos to see the light, 'Alchemy' is sowewhat of a well-chosen name for such a great teamwork that worked and works out perfect. The epic and complex intro builds up the tension that exploses at the drop, lets loose a rough yet supercharged melodic power, set to be the brand of the output of the collab between these guys.Be on the look out for more sickness from these four !

Rregula
A1 Let It Go
B1 Arrival
close
Hailing from Perth, Australia, this talented and prolific producer is no stranger to the music scene. Following his first taste of an Akai sampler to drop film samples on the intros of songs in his metal band, The Dirty Whittler, Rregula eventually found himself drawn into the world of drum and bass and formed one half of Bad Robot in 2003, a monster collaboration with future Technique and Viper superstar, Phetsta.
With a number of releases on Subsonik Sound, Black Sun Empire, and Drumsound & Bassline Smith's popular Technique Recordings as Bad Robot, followed by solo projects on Vampire Records, DSCI4, Citrus Recordings, Icarus Audio, Climate Recordings, and too many others to name, Rregula has been scaling new heights with his output in the past year. Having just released an album project in 2011 on Trust In
Music entitled 'Echoes From The Future' with Dementia and collaborations from the likes of Smooth, Trei and Optiv, one might think of calling it a year.. Rregula is not one of those people.
Now set to unleash his highly anticipated debut LP on Climate Recordings, Rregula presents: 'The
Barramundi Experiment'. An album xtraordinaire, with over 30 tunes of deep and dirty rolling drum and bass, halftime and drumstep, this initial sampler gives us a taste of what to expect with the intricate, flowing 'Let It Go', complimented by the rowdy, stomping beats of 'Arrival'.
'Let It Go' kicks of proceedings with an expansive intro, featuring crisp refreshing vocals and huge synths to produce a wide and detailed soundscape. At the track builds, a mean, old school Reese bass comes to the fore and the track gallops to life, with hard hitting drums and synths adding movement and urgency to an already huge track. By combining a chilled intro with an insane bassline, 'Let It Go' will
take any dancefloor on a rollercoaster of emotions.
Not to be overshadowed by the A side, 'Arrival' begins with a deceptively calm, atmospheric
introduction, but transforms into a Drumstep beast. Not quite Dubstep, not quite Drum and Bass, the main focus of 'Arrival' is a dominating, restless bass, underpinned by carefully honed kicks and lush reverbed snares. Combining a bassline as filthy as any dubstep track with the pulsing drive of a Drum and Bass tempo, Arrival represents the best of both worlds, and has a groove that impossible not to nod to.

Silent Dust / Marcus Intalex / Om Unit
A1 The Giant
B1 The Giant
close
Silent Dust approach their label none60's second release with two remixes of 'The Giant,' one of the most moving and emotive tracks off their self-titled debut album. Marcus Intalex pulls 'The Giant' out of its eerie, ethereal atmosphere and re-envisions it with tougher percussion, and a deeper sense of urgency. Maintaining the track's spacious feel, Intalex's version becomes a sci-fi dancefloor dweller that drives with immaculately sculpted drums and ascending synth lines. Om Unit, meanwhile, brings 'The Giant' into a head-nodding soundworld of its own, with his characteristic epic builds, winding synths, woozy rhythms and a helping of funk. One for the club DJs, Om Unit's take will cause sheer devastation to any bassbin. An exploration of two unique producers' imaginative minds, both remixes give 'The Giant' an entirely new colour spectrum.

The allmighty PRSPCT arsenal gets expanded bigtime with the coming of PRSPCT XTRM.. The name says it all extreme.. Over the top underground vibes!!!
The first release sees The DJ Producer going head to head with Bong Ra in a collaboration that's just too much.. It starts off with 'The Abominable' a track that's insane in every way. Heavy hardcore kicks combined with destructive Jungle breaks is something only this duo can combine! Sitting firm on the edge of Hardcore, Breakcore and DnB like only these 2 can. 'Bloodclot Techno' is something totally different.. This one focusses more on the jungle/break core side of things but combined with almost Terminator esque vibes. Definably an epic production if there ever was one!
